Luke Shaw Rumoured Charity Tour Of Premier League Clubs. Wednesday, 16th Apr 2014 08:27 Ironically in the week that saw the London Marathon raise millions for charitable causes, Luke Shaw is allegedly about to launch a Charity fund drive of his own. The list of feats performed in the name of charity is seemingly endless whether its climbing Kilimanjaro, swimming the channel or running a marathon countless individuals throw themselves into a frenzy of fund raising. In footballing terms there have been trips to visit all of the 92 League clubs and now our own Luke Shaw is reportably about to follow in their footsteps by attempting to be linked with all of the current Premier League clubs by the start of the transfer window opening in June. So far he has been linked to Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United & Spurs, or at least these 6 are the clubs that are definitely about to pip the other 5 to sign the Saints left back. On top of that he has allegedly already agreed terms with Everton & Newcastle. This leaves him needing to tick off 11 other clubs plus of course managing to find a paper willing to print a story that confirms that he is staying at Saints, that of course being commercial suicide for the tabloids. Shaw is methodical and has devised an advent calendar that he has pinned on his Mum's kitchen wall with each day revealing which club he needs to be linked with in the next 24 hours and every morning he works out his strategy over his morning Frosties a clear indication that he has set his heart on becoming a Tiger next season thus emulating his boyhood idol Tony the Frosties Tiger Indeed by this Friday Luke hopes to have ticked off FA Cup Finalists Hull City/Tigers although this is expected to fail due to Hull owners Assem Allam's demands that Shaw change his name, apparently Allam doesnt feel that the name Shaw is marketable enough globally, he feels that the surname is not attractive to foreign investors and wants him to change it to Beach, the Hull supremo would have possibly said if asked " When you hear the word Shaw it has the wrong connotations New Jersey Shaw, Weston Shaw, none of those are the branding we are looking to portray globally, but when you think of Miami Beach, Copacobana Beach etc now that is global" Shaw will turn it down but will be happy to see the link in the paper take him over the half way mark in his marathon quest to do the "20" He is hoping to have raised by August over £20 million in signing on fee's plus an £85k a week salary, those wishing to donate can do so via his just giving page by putting money into the bucket at the gates of Staplewood Training Complex or by sending a cheque direct to Roman Abramovich if its a Tuesday, David Moyes if its a Wednesday, The Etihad on a Thursday and Assem Allam if its a bad dream.
