Saints play their first domestic friendly of the 2014/15 season as they head up to Wiltshire and face Swindon Town at the County Ground.

It looks like Ronald Koeman is going to get Saints fit for the coming season, after a six day training camp including two low key friendlies the squad had only Saturday off before training yesterday and now a short trip up to Swindon Town.

It is a chance for most Saints fans to get a sight of the two new signings so far in Graziano Pelle and Dusan Tadic although perhaps the biggest question will be whether Dejan Lovren will play any part.

Although Lovren attended the training camp he did not play in any of the games leading to speculation that he is about to move the rest of his body to Liverpool to join his head that has apparently been there for several weeks, although not his brain judging by the way he has conducted himself this summer.

In Europe his absence from the games could be excused on his recent return from World Cup duty however as the days go by that is less of an excuse and if he doesnt play tonight the rumours will be flying.

Another question will be how Koeman lines up his teams, so far he has opted for the full squad approach playing a different team in each half and it is likely that he might go for that option again or at least something approaching it.

One fitness doubt is Nathaniel Clyne who has a slight groin strain so is likely to be rested.
