It is amazing how many players you can be linked to when you have money as yet another player is rumoured to be a Saints target.

Ronald Koeman cannot have had much spare time recently as he must have spent most of it watching videos of the various players that he has supposedly been interested in buying for Saints.

The latest is Olympic Marseille's Andre Ayew, the Ghana International recently turned down a move to Hull City and is also wanted by Swansea but whether Saints would be any more attractive is another matter although the French side seem keen to move on the player.

The reality is that given Ayew's links to other Premier clubs and Saints public statement they want a winger this is nothing more than agent talk or the press putting tow and two together, although it has to be said the player does seem to have the right credentials.

1970 added 13:36 - Sep 1 I'll be very disappointed if we lose any of our players to the y**s there no better than last season the Belgium defender would be good and Redmond but i'd still prefer Phillips from QPR. Who are these African players are they any good or just a smoke screen?
