Newcastle Game heading For Sell Out In Home Areas
Thursday, 11th Sep 2014 12:11

With renewed optimism amongst the Saints faithful and the chance to see a few new faces in action, the game against Newcastle United looks to be heading towards a full house in the home sections.

Saints will be set to match the 31,360 that attended last seasons game against Newcastle if the normal late rush for tickets follows normal patterns.

With two days to go before the game on Saturday most areas of St Mary's have extremely limited availability with only the corners of the Itchen Stand and the block at the bottom behind the Chapel goal having any bulk availability.

Newcastle are set to bring around 2,600 fans, their initial allocation of around 2,300 sold out and they were given another 250 earlier this week, this would normally mean that block 43 has not been allocated to away supporters and so there could be a few more tickets made available to home fans on the day of the game.

It's good to see that after the trial and tribulations of the summer that Saints fans have a little more confidence in the season that they did have a few weeks ago, it would be nice to see all these seats filled to capacity, so if you havent yet bought your ticket now is the time to get online, on the phone or down to St mary's so you can get a decent seat.

Katharina Liebherr has shown her support for the club, now is the time for supporters to show their support for her.
