Surge In Ticket Sales For Stoke Home Game Tuesday, 21st Oct 2014 21:25 Saints result against Sunderland has resulted in a surge of ticket sales for the fixture with Stoke City on Saturday. Saints fans have started to wake up to the fact that they have an exciting team to watch with a significant number of seats sold in the last 24 hours, prompting the club to release block 43 in the Northam end with Stoke City declining to take a fill allocation. Tuesday started with several areas in the stadium showing plenty of availability, mainly the usual areas in the Itches/Chapel corner, however it seems that most of the tickets in that area have now been sold meaning that the Northam aside the only area in the ground with plenty of availability is the Itches/Northam corner. This has prompted the club to release block 43 for sale, putting around 900 seats usually occupied by away supporters available to be bought by home fans. This means that the game is looking to be heading for a sell out in the home seating areas with the only seats likely to be empty on Saturday being in the corporate areas or the away section if Stoke fail to sell their reduced allocation. It will be good to see a full house at SMS again as some fans have been slow to return to the fold after the drama of the summer.
