Saints Get Yet More Tickets For Sheffield United Trip
Wednesday, 26th Nov 2014 14:18

Saints have received a third allocation of tickets as the Red & White Army prepares to head north to Sheffield to seek redress for the 1902 FA Cup Final defeat.

After selling the original 2,558 tickets in quick time, earlier this week Saints received another 850 on Monday, but with over 1,250 tickets being sold in the last 48 hours alone Saints have been given another tranche of 600 to sell.

This means that we have so far sold nearly 4,000 tickets with a fortnight still to go before the game is played and it could well be that Saints will ask for more tickets next week, although these would not be guaranteed, so the advice is to buy quickly, with Sheffield United seemingly being able to accommodate around 5,000 in the away end, there is perhaps scope for only another 600 or so tickets to be offered .

Whichever way it will be great support on the night for Saints for a game that if won would see them just a two leg semi final away from a trip to Wembley.

I'm still bitter about that 1902 Cup Final defeat.... that and that German Chancellor von Bulow attacking British actions in South Africa. P*sses me right off I can tell you... angry, so angry...
