Could Dirk Kuyt Pop Up On Loan at St Mary's In January Friday, 12th Dec 2014 19:02 Ex Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt has been linked with a move to Saints over the past few months, but now seems set to join Feyenoord at the end of the season, but that may not mean that he wont pull on a Saints shirt. Dirk Kuyt has been told he can leave Fenerbahce at the end of the season and the Turkish media is reporting that he will return to his old club Feyenoord where he intends to finish his career. However with Fenerbahce looking to not only reduce the average age of their squad, bu their wage bill as well it could be that Kuyt may be interested in a short stint back in the Premier League before he returns to his homeland for a final hurrah, if that is the case then it could be St Mary's where he plots up at, in a move that would perhaps also suit Saints who could do with a player of his calibre in the short term to cover players away on International duty and to add depth to a squad that as has just been proved over the last few weeks can be stretched is we have a bad spell of injuries.
