Saints Injury Woes Continue
Thursday, 26th Feb 2015 13:02

Saints seem to have run over a black cat or smashed a mirror when it comes to luck with injuries and now another squad member has joined the queue in the treatment room.

Latest casualty is Eljero Elia who turned an ankle in Sunday's defeat against Liverpool, this has meant that he has been unable to train this week although he was hoping to do at least a little light training today (Thursday).

Although losing Elia would be a loss, Saints are well served in the offensive area of the field with the arrival of Filip Djuricic and the return of Sadio Mane & Shane Long from International duty and injury respectively.

The player himself is confident that he will be fit for Saturday saying.

“It was my leg. [Yesterday] I didn’t train and on my free day (Tuesday) I was also at the club, so I hope [today] I train again.”

I find the word 'offensive' offensive. Why can't we lose that word and get back to 'attacking'.
