Saints Appoint New Head Of Recruitment
Sunday, 15th Mar 2015 10:00

Saints have announced the replacement for Paul Mitchell who left the club earlier this season to join Tottenham Hotspur.

Saints have revealed that the new head of scouting and recruitment will be Ross Wilson, the 33 year old leaving his current position at Huddersfield Town to work at St Mary's.

Wilson was rumoured to be Saints preferred choice to replace Mitchell and it seems Saints have now got their man, he will slot straight into the role vacated and will work closely with Ronald Koeman and Les Reed, reporting directly to the latter.

It is seemingly a friendly parting of the ways with the Yorkshire club and Saints are allowing Wilson to help Huddersfield find his successor.

It will be a busy start for Wilson with the summer set to see some comings and goings at St Mary's.
