Despite speculation that Dirk Kuyt had opted to go back and finish his career in Holland rather than return to the Premier League first it seems that a move to Feyenoord is far from sealed.

Ronald Koeman is allegedly very keen to take Dirk Kuyt to St Mary's next season, there was a lot of speculation that a loan deal from his present club Fenerbahce might have happened back in January but that failed to come to fruition and it was assumed that Kuyt would depart in the summer for Feyenoord.

However it seems that the persuasive powers of Koeman are still in action and the news from Holland is that Kuyt and Feyenoord have not agreed a deal and on not look very close to doing so, reopening the rumours that the ex Liverpool star might well be going back to the Premier League with Southampton.

Kuyt himself is saying nothing other than that he has made no decision about his future yet which further fans the flames that the Koeman touch might be coming into play.
