Saints Line Up Replacement For Clyne Sunday, 17th May 2015 18:10 Saints are rumoured to be looking at signing Burnley right back Kieran Trippier should Nathaniel Cyne turn down a new contract. Kieran Trippier is believed to be the latest right back in Saints radar should Nathaniel Clyne turn down a new deal at St Mary's and prefer a move to another club. Trippier who will be 25 in September started his career with Manchester City but failed to make the first team, spending over a season on loan at Barnsley and then Burnley for a year before joining the Turf Moor club permanently in the summer of 2012. Since then he has been a regular in the Burnley side and signed a new extended deal in the summer of 2014 after the club's promotion to the Premier league, however it is believed that part of that contract was that should the Clarets be relegated, which of course they have, then he would be entitled to go if a club met a £3.5 million buy out clause. How concrete this rumour is will be tested in the next week or so when Nathaniel Clyne's intentions become known.
