Only Three Weeks To Next Seasons Fixtures Released

For those that like to plan the year ahead by where Saints will be playing there will not be long left to wait before the fixtures are released.

The Premier league fixtures will be released in exactly three weeks time on Wednesday 17th June 2015 with the opening day of the season being on Saturday 8th August and concluding on Sunday 15th May 2016.

If Saints do qualify for the Europa league then they will be in the third qualifying round which will have the first leg on Thursday 30th July with the return leg a week later on Thursday 6th August , although it will be July before Saints get confirmation of opponents should they qualify.

If Saints should succeed in the third qualifying round they would then go into the play-off round. The draw for that wouldl take place on Friday 7th August, with the first leg on Thursday 20th August and the second leg a week later.

The draw for the group stage will take place on Friday 28th August, with the first round of matches scheduled for Thursday 17th September.

Should Saints qualify for Europe, they will enter the Capital One Cup at the third-round stage. The draw for the third round will be made the week commencing 24th August, with the ties to be played week commencing 22nd September.
