A few interesting facts about Virgil including his appearances at International level, with thanks to Wikepedia

Virgil was an ever present in the 1960's classic International Rescue line up appearing 32 times in total playing alongside his brothers Jeff & Scott in a solid midfield 3.

He was also the first in the team to use the International Rescue radio code of F.A.B.

His squad number is TB2 although occasionally he has used other numbers.

Virgil' date of birth is 15th August 2041, meaning he will will qualify for the Dutch Under 21 side for the next 47 years.

Third son of Jeff Tracy (instigator and financier behind International Rescue), Virgil was named after astronaut Virgil Grissom.

Virgil can play in several positions for the team, in a more withdrawn role in the TB2 is his usual position but he has also been known to play a more attacking role in the TB3 shirt or out wide in TB5.

Former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan is nicknamed "Virgil" (after Virgil Tracy) for his likeness to the character.

Factual correction, be wouldn't have piloted TB5 as it was in constant orbit, like a satellite.
