What do Leicester City fans feel about their teams chances at St Mary's and the rest of the season.

Last season you probably did the greatest of Great Escapes, what are you looking for this season?

To be honest as exciting as the Great Escape was I would have been happy with a mid table stay that lasted from game 1 to game 38 for the 2015/16 season.

You have had an amazing start to the season what do you put this down to?

We continued where we left off last season. We made a few signings but the team that started this season, was almost the team that ended last season. Our new manager Ranieri didn't live up to his nickname and tinker. But the main reason was that when Pearson was sacked we held onto the back room staff ensuring some continuity and having staff in the management / coaching team that new the squad and who could do what.

You lost Cambiasso pre season, your player of the season last term. How big a loss was that?

Easy to say now but not a big loss. He was a Pearson man and had only signed for one season. He came, helped us top survive and won player of the season, how was he ever going to better that? Personally I think he got out at the top after his ambition of playing in the EPL was finalised.

Daddy / Chips moment — Pearson or Ranieri.

Loved Pearson and what he did for the club, but last season he was seriously losing the plot. If he had still been manager this season I would have been happy, but I think Ranieri can take us to the next level.

Which player would you 'realistically' have liked to see arrive at Leicester City during the transfer window but didn't?

We were linked with every man and his dog even Balotelli. They joys of the transfer window I guess. The one player was not who we could have signed but who we could have kept — Esteban Cambiasso. Think he would have been amazing in the Ranieri style of play.

Who is the one player you wish had left the club in the transfer window but didn't?

Schwarzer. Bought in as cover for Hamer when Schmeichel was injured. Only signed a two year contract but as came from Chelsea rumours are his contract stated that when Schmeichel was fit he would be our number 2 stopper. Hamer is, for many, a better all round keeper and had done nothing wrong but has now had to go out on loan,

Which Leicester players should Southampton be aware of in this game?

The obvious two are Vardy & Mahrez, but looking past them Okazaki our Japanese International striker is a real pain and fights for every ball,

Which Southampton player/s if any would you like in the Leicester squad?

Pelle please. I know we have enough strikers but would love to se him and Vardy together.

Have you been surprised by Southampton's start to the season and where will they finish up come next May?

You had a slow start but are now turning things around. This may have been due to your early European adventure. Last season you were most peoples second team with where you were in the league after everything that had happened.
Probably 6th or 7th.

And finally can you give us a score prediction for this game…

Even with the promise of Pizza's with extra toppings City cannot keep a clean sheet, but then we can score goals. 2-1 to Leicester I think.

I think the Leicester game could go two ways. A marginal win for saints or a heavy defeat for Leicester. If we score early I can seriously see us winning by 4 or more.

Looking at a foxes message board most of them would snap your hand off for a draw right now.
Could be a good game I think. With their athletic style they will give anyone a test and we had better be up for it. If we are then I can see us winning 2-1 or 2-0. If we are slow out the blocks then we could be up against it.

"Even with the promise of Pizza's with extra toppings..."

I think we've come good now. Leicester's defence is the 4th worst in the league. Ours looks bad on paper, but if you factor in when VVD joined and that 3 of the goals post VVD were against Man U and that we've since got Bertrand back, we should be settled in that department too. We're also starting to fire in all areas upfront. Pelle and Mane will be constant threats. Steven Davis will now fancy himself and JWP's confidence will be on the up I'm sure after showing he can deliver good service into the box. These are the kind of games we have to win, especially at home. I've said that before against Leicester (a few times) and this is a stronger team than normal. We need to be up for it and clinical. If we do I could see us scoring 3 or 4 with maybe one in reply.
