Clasie Only Injury Doubt For Saints Ahead Of Palace Game.
Friday, 13th May 2016 14:47

Jordy Clasie looks set to miss out against Crystal Palace after picking up a groin injury in the win over Tottenham Hotspur.

Jordy Clasie looks set to miss the game against Crystal Palace according to Ronald Koeman in this afternoons press conference, Clasie picked up a groin strain that forced him off at White Hart Lane last Sunday and will now miss the game against the Eagles.

But in brighter news Clasie is the only injury doubt ahead of what is a massive game for Saints with a win seeing them at least equal last season's 7th place finish and if results go well elsewhere perhaps a Europa League qualifying spot secured without needing Manchester united to win the cup final.

Ronald Koeman's main dilemma will now be who to select in the starting line up, in all fairness to Jordy Clasie the centre of midfield is an area that the manager has a rich choice to select from and his main selection issues will probably surround the bench and who he brings on off it during the game.

Bad news about Jordy Clasie hope this doesn't mean James Ward Prowse will start.
I think Jordy Clasie is far better than Prowse he is not so light weight.

Vanmans obviously doesn't like JWP- read his comment on the posting re the new contracts being signed. JWP is certainly not the best of midfielders, however he is a useful squad player and has has had good games off of the bench.

What does Clasie contribute? I would put Reed
Romeu and JWP ahead of him
