Saints Announce Another Great Ticket Incentive Courtesy Of Virgin Media
Wednesday, 24th Aug 2016 09:05

Those Saints fans who have complained that they are not part of the Twenty's Plenty campaign in place at St Mary's courtesy of The Football Supporters Federation & Virgin Media get yet another ticket deal.

Virgin Media have said that they are going to be more than just a shirt sponsor and now comes another great ticket deal this time in the Europa League.

You will need to be either a season ticket holder or an official club member to benefit from this package, but it is another great saving.

Individual tickets for the forthcoming Europa League group stages will be £20 for adults, but for the aforementioned season ticket holders and club members a group bundle of all three matches will be available for only £48, a saving of 20 % on buying each game individually.

In addition to the £48 deal for adults, the bundle for 18-21 year-olds and Over-65s will be available for just £36 and Under-18s will be able to attend all three games for only £24.

The sales dates for general sale, and for the individual games, will be announced after the draw has taken place on Friday 26th August and should Saints progress from the group stage, tickets for any knockout round matches will be sold first to those who have attended the group games.

Saints are also pleased to confirm plans to run travel options for all three of the away group games.

All in all another great discount for the supporters and another £16 saving for those who want to attend all three home games.

So far Virgin Media have really put their hands in their pockets for Saints fans, so far with ticket reductions, free coach travel and even a free drink, those eligible and who have taken up all of the offers could soon be approaching almost £100 worth of savings and that is something that we have never seen before from a club sponsor at Southampton.

Virgin Media are also backing the Football Supporters Federation and their Twenty's Plenty campaign, this is looking at Premier League ticket prices in general and campaigning for an across the board reduction down to £20 for adults.

There were those who said that they had no chance of doing this when it was launched a few years ao, but they have achieved a £30 cap and that is a massive start, now with the backing of a major company, it is hoped that the £20 target can be achieved very soon.
