Saints legends Matthew Le Tissier & Francis Benali are set to team up again, this time as football agents.

The two players whose Saints careers spanned three decades and took in the 80's, 90's and the 00's are forming a football management company called 73 Management, the name is derived from their squad numbers back in the 90's, the iconic 7 for Le God and number 3 for Frannie.

The company seems to be aimed at representing young players trying to break through in the game and will compliment the coaching and soccer schools set up by Matt with which he already works closely with his old team mate.

Both players remained loyal to Saints at a time when the big money was just starting to creep into the game and players heads were being turned at an early age, it would have been easy for them to have left the Dell for better offers, but they know the benefit of concentrating on football first rather than going to a big club too early and putting money before a career.

Former England international Le Tissier, Southampton's second-highest scorer, said: "We're really looking forward to introducing our first-class services to players and their families.

"Francis and I are keen to use our in-depth knowledge of the game, both from our playing days and subsequent coaching and media work, to mentor players and help them make the right decisions for their football careers."

Benali, who spent almost all of his career at Southampton, added: "We have a real passion for the game and feel we have a responsibility to pass on our knowledge and experience to the younger generation.

"Our advice will always be based on what is best for our players and their families, with their long-term interests at heart.

"We've been in their boots and will aim to take as much worry and stress away from them as possible, so they can focus on football."
