Fraser Forster has departed from the England camp after picking up an arm injury in training.

Fraser Forster has returned to Staplewood to receive treatment on an arm injury picked up in training with England.

At the moment it is unclear how serious the injury is and how long it is likely to keep him out, however it is serious enough to mean that he is not in contention for England's game in Slovenia on Sunday.

This is a blow for Forster who with Joe Hart out of form and being tied up with his transfer to Torino, was looking to get his first competitive start for England and perhaps stake his claim for the number one spot in the England set up.

Saints fans won't be too bothered about that, they will be more concerned about how serious this injury is and whether the keeper will be fit for the trip to Arsenal in ten days time.
