thornhill1976 added 23:13 - Jan 17 Les Reed has consistently sold our best players. Yet he hangs on to dross like JWP in order to foster the illusion that we have a wonderful youth system. Saints have always produced good youngsters - long before the "Barca" model became fashionable. Koeman knew the whole thing was a con. It's simply a way of minimising costs and increasing dividends rather than having our expensive assets on the pitch - which is what the fans would prefer.
