Saints Get Date For Re Arranged Trip To Chelsea
Monday, 20th Mar 2017 11:36

Saints now know when they will be heading to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea, one of three fixtures that they have to squeeze in to the final weeks of the season.

Saints will now head to London to take on Chelsea on Tuesday 25th April a couple of days after it was originally scheduled but then had to be cancelled due to the Blues involvment in the FA Cup Semi finals at Wembley that weekend.

The revised fixture will now be a 7.45pm kick off and will be broadcast live on Sky TV for those unable to make it.

This will be the first affordable trip to Stamford Bridge in a while, last season the price was around the £50 mark depending on whether you were upper or lower tier, but with the cap on tickets for away supporters it now cannot be more than £30.

Saints still have to fit in home games against Manchester United and Arsenal.

Why is it taking so long to re-arrange the game against Arsenal - they are out of everything now (my heart bleeds) so surely we can play them on the FA Cup semi-final weekend when we were due to play Chelski ? - Saturday 22nd at 3pm - or is that too radical / logical?
