Still Tickets Left For Manchester United Game
Monday, 15th May 2017 11:54

It will be a a long time since a Saints V Manchester United game has not sold out, but it looks like being that way on Wednesday evening unless there is a late rush.

There are still around 500 tickets left for the visit of Manchester United on Wednesday evening, this fixture is usually the one that guarantees a sell out and it will send the alarm bells ringing in the boardroom about just how disillusioned a growing proportion of the supporter base is with the manager.

Add to that the fact that the Stoke City game on Sunday still has around 2,000 tickets available and it is not hard to predict that season ticket sales might also be well down as with no financial incentive to renew early many will wait to see what the summer holds before committing themselves.

ironically Stoke were the visitors four years ago for the final game of the season when with nothing to play for 31.539 turned out to acclaim a side that finished 14th, although it had been a long hard season that had started badly there was a degree of optimism around the place, something that isn't there at the moment if you believe social media.

But whatever you think of the manager, the players do deserve to see a full house for both games, they have put in a decent season and taken us to Wembley, they have earned a lap of honour.

So it would be good to see the last tickets for Manchester United sell fast so we can concentrate on winning on Wednesday and securing not only a top ten spot but a shot at 8th on the final day.

Bit odd isn't it that 35k went to Wembley and there were many others screaming and moaning that they were entitled to tickets but couldn't get them. Honestly you couldn't make it up!
