Romeo Lavia Injury Update Ahead Of Saints V Everton Game
Friday, 30th Sep 2022 15:11

Ralph Hasenhuttl has been speaking to the press ahead of the clash against Everton at St Mary's and he has some positive news about Romeo Lavia.

Ralph Hasenhuttl has confirmed that although Romeo Lavia has made good progress with his hamstring injury and is taking part in light training, he won't be featuring against Everton on Saturday.

"We still have to wait for the long term injuries. Romeo will take a few more weeks, Tino maybe not until next year. They are on the pitch, but there is a big difference for running straight lines and working with the rest with the football."

However it is good news for the rest of the squad with the Austrian reporting no new injury issues so he is expected to have a full squad to pick from excluding the two current out injured, Romeo Lavia & Tino Livramento.

We are really missing Lavia and have had no creativity since he was out. Can't come back soon enough for me.
