After it was confirmed that Southampton would play Walsall in the FA Cup 3rd round, the club were quick to announce that ticket prices would be slashed and that season ticket holders & members could get their tickets for just £10.

The last time Saints hosted Walsall at St Mary's there were 31,653 present as a 3-1 win for the home side confirmed their promotion from League One in May 2011.

Now the Saddlers return to St Mary's almost 13 years later and it looks like the gate won't get anywhere near that, however it won't be for a lack of trying on Saints part.

Season ticket holders & members can buy tickets for just £10 and on general sale and surprisingly the day of the match itself they will be just £12.50 with concessions at £5 for season ticket holders & members & £7.50 general sale.

But you will need to be quick if you want your own seat as tickets are already on sale and you will only have until 11.59pm tomorrow evening Thursday 14th December to buy your own seat then it is members followed by the general sale on Monday 18th.

The Chapel End will not be open for the game though, at least not unless their is a big rush on ticket sales.
