Opening match of the season is pay on the day

Ticket information for our opening game of the new season down at Southend United have been released, and County fans won't need to rush to the Edgeley Park ticket office over the course of the next week as its been made pay on the day by the Essex club.


County fans will be entitled to a £2 discount if they purchase their tickets in advance from the Southend United ticket office. To arrange to buy a ticket for the game early simply call the ticket office on 08444 770077.

Prices for the game at Roots Hall are as follows:

Adults £18

Senior Citizens £13

Students and 17-20 year-olds £12

Under-16s £10

Disabled £9 with a carer going free

With Southend (and County) playing League Two football this season, the Shrimpers have reduced their matchday prices as last season they were charging £22 for an adult ticket, £15 for senior citizens and £14 for students and 17 - 20 year olds.

Last season County lost 2-1 to Southend in our final away match of the season as two late goals condemned us to yet another defeat.
