I know refs make mistakes, but just imagine what them 2 points could of done for us now!

Yep, I know they say it evens itself out, but we've had 3 match changing blunders by refs this season. The Stoke game, which was a disgrace, the C. Palace penalty that wasn't, and the clear pen decision we had turned down earlier in the season (can't remember where) that cost us a possible win. 6 points lost there.

The only dubious decision that went in our favour (and that was disputable) was when that lump at West Ham got sent off - but that didn't affect the match.

Yes the refs have made mistakes, but we can look closer at ourselves.

That 45min 2nd half against WBA.

Us 3 more points, them 3 less, safety would be ours

You mean Joe Cole's handball at the end of the West Ham match. (Dowd again). I blame the linesman for that. He had a clear view. Don't forget Probert ending the game as JDG was bearing down on goal at the end of the Arsenal game.

Grasping when a couple of bad decisions could send us down. Should be well clear by now regardless.

We've also had countless decisions go our way.

Tiendali practically catching the ball in our own penalty box springs to mind.

Ash is partial to a handball in the box too.

That's the only one that comes to mind. It doesn't even out as far as we are concerned. I have never believed in a conspiracy theory, but some of the reffing decisions make me wonder.

Some decisions go for you and some go against. But there's no doubt that this season the ones that have gone against us have really, really hurt us - mainly because they've been in injury time and definitely affected the results. The ones that went for us (like the soft pen at Anfield) didn't help us at all.

I completely agree - it wasn't only about the dodgy penalty itself but the sequence of events leading up to it. Stank to high heaven and still grates.

We've had a couple go against us, but if we go down we will have no one to blame but ourselves.
