It baffles me why in this day and age when everybody knows how these death sticks kill you painfully and slowly that people still continue to use them. Then in 20 years time when these people are ill with a disease caused directly by this pointless habit, they expect expensive treatment on the NHS for free. |  |

Agree. However, there won't be an NHS in 20 years time so they'll need insurance. And as smokers (social pariahs if you like!!!) they'll need to pay a hefty premium.

If you drink, do drugs, play sport, travel a lot or have a dangerous job you will pay more.

There's no logic in smoking.
1) It kills you/gives you diseases
2) It gives you bad breathe
3) It gives you bad hygiene
4) It makes you sink
5) It's unsociable
6) It gives you a bad cough
7) Damages peoples health around you
8) It costs A LOT of money
9) You don't get any rush/high from it, unlike other drugs and alcohol.

People in this country are supposed to be free.
I think that is the argument anyway.
Fact is nobody should deliberately put their lives at risk and their families lose a father/son/daughter/mother by dog this outdated pastime.
Quite why young uns still take it up is beyond me.
Still, its freedom of choice and yeah I was a heavy smoker basically as I was young, immortal but a d1ickhead.

mixed with cannabis is a totally different drug... one that is not documented, you get the high from the marijuana and the addiction from the nicotine meaning dope heads think they 'really need a spliff man' when in fact they are just gasping for a cig which ends in them smoking too much weed that is needed and too many cigs.
