While I agree we need a new manager, what a strange time to start a thread like this. Why not just enjoy the win?

You know, Hobbes, some days even my lucky rocket ship underpants don't help.

Its not as if we are picking the manager!!

Great 3 points today and we can all saviour it and I wouldn't think about a new manger if I was part of the board until we were 100% safe but plans have to be a foot.

Remember, things don't happen for those who stand around.

Quite happy and think it would be wise to stick with Monk to be honest... BUT, if I had to choose.

Bielsa
Graeme Jones
Clement

all sound like hard working managers

Have a bit of respect. Garry Monk has always given everything for this club and deserves to enjoy todays win, regardless of who will be the next manager.

Lets just enjoy the moment

Let's hope the club has a different attitude.

Don't see anything wrong discussing this. It's not as if our thoughts or views are going to make an iota of difference.

Tim Sherwood.Hardly anyone will agree but I like his honesty and he's young and very passionate and a typical Swans managerial signing..Failing that Eddie Howe.

for me its steve clarke his coaching pedigree is 2nd to none so its a safe bet he has a good handle on some of the best young talent out there having coached at Chelsea , Westham , Liverpool and more recently West Brom ..........also he is low key an no nonsense with a good track record of working with others , i see him bringing monk along if we are lucky enough to get him ( a task that would not suit most other applicants ).

Monk's biggest problem is the dead wood and want away players he's been left with causing problems in the squad.

If Monk's allowed and able to get shot of a few of the current lot and given a decent amount of money to strengthen the team in the summer I think we will do fine under him.

What a strange thread this is on the night that GM has presided over our probable survival in the PL. However I will indulge myself.
Why would anyone want to appoint any of these 3, I do not know.
Uwe Rossler has done well in the lower leagues, this is no guarantee of success in the PL.
Paul Clement has proved himself a competent assistant, once again no guarantee of success as a No1.
Roberto Di Matteo, was fired by WBA due to poor results, ok took over at Chelski after Villas Boas was fired but I believe the players were so relieved to get shot of VB anyone would have had success.
Graham Jones, once again a competent assistant, not tried as a No1.
I'm not sure that Garry Monk has enough experience to improve us but I would not be in a hurry to replace GM with any of the above. If we are going to replace GM it would have to be someone with a better pedigree than any of the above.
