Let's go see him.

I may actually get some leaflets done with the definition of the word "libertarian" printed on them and hand them out on the door to those going to see the Dear Leader speak. In my experience most UKIP supporters haven't got a clue what the word means. And UKIP isn't so much a political movement anyway, it's more of a cult of personality.

I've just brought the mental image of Farage crumpled up in the wreckage of that light aircraft crash a few years ago back to my mind. Satisfying. Happy Easter.

Jackportis the brand. “A gifted poster”, “planet swans have a real talent on their hands in the name of Jackportis” sky sports 2018. . JP fully supports posters of LBG, mx orientation and ethnic minority groups. Update - now fully supporting the pansexual community.

The cult of personality? That sounds very reminiscent of the New Labour Project, indeed the projection of one Anthony Charles Lynton Blair, the omniscient.

As Clase says, most of the people (i.e. not the old Tories) who are lauding him have little idea of UKIP's actual policies, he's managed to play the bloke down the pub trick despite the fact he's clearly a toff.

You make him sound remarkably like Tony Benn.

You'll find voices raised against the European project right across the political spectrum for any number of reasons.

Indeed, Farage's is based on long gone Britania rules the waves arrogance, bigotry and a hint of confused liberalism.

Ironic really that the guy is against membership of the EU but that doesn't stop him claiming his full wodge of expenses. The 'Gravy Train' also runs for him.

To be fair to the followers of the Farage cult, it's difficult to find out what UKIP's policies are because they haven't got many. And they haven't got any that stand up to any sort of sensible scrutiny.

I have heard him say he'd reintroduce Pullman coaches. For that alone I'd say he deserves a pint.

Miliband is wise to keep his powder dry in that respect. They're ahead in the polls and are looking likely to get a slim majority in 2015. Being light on actual policy is what worked for Cameron four years ago although he couldn't manage to muster a majority even when faced with the most inept and disliked prime minister in recent history.

The next GE campaign is going to be fun. I'm looking forward to it.

Oops. Thought Lohengrin was on about policy. Never mind.

Labour hasn't been a socialist party since 1984.
