Nope, never said anything other than he needed time and that him and Michu used to get in each others way, and with Michu refusing to be benched that won't happen anytime soon.

Bony could be a World Cup star!!

Heard him being compared to Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink today.Thought it was a good comparison.

Plus top goal scorer he is 150/1. Ivory's first game is against Japan - he could get a "rake" of goals there!!!

Very good today
Fantastic goal and penalty.
Have to say Emnes has looked good as well when he has played, linked up very well with Bony as soon as he came on,put great ball through for him before penalty.

I got down arrowed for asking this earlier:

"how much do you think he'd be worth if he had blistering pace?"

I'd say upwards of £40m

Present value >£20m

i said back in august that i'd be surprised if he doesn't get 15+ goals for us; well he's smashed that, and i expect him to get at least 2 more in the league.

I have to admit I expected him to miss that penalty. Turns out my lack of faith was stupendously misplaced as he nailed it like a beast.

The header for the first goal...wowzers, what a leap; trademark stuff.

Enjoying the next level

Would he be the behemoth that he is, if he had blistering pace?

At the time, 12m was like oh f*ck but taking his performances and goals into account, it's a bit of a steal

He'd be in the Falcao mould

He's f*cking brilliant though. Great memories this year - my 63 year old father signing the "come on Wilfired Bony" song at 6am on my stag do when he got in

I knew he'd score, my panic started when Jonjo picked up the ball, not because he'd miss but incase it hit me in the face.

It would be a big ask for Bony to run fast with those 3 tree trunk legs

Agree. I must admit I was wasn't convinced at first. He looked like he was too slow and had a bad first touch, but he's proved me wrong.
My biggest concern was (and still is to some degree) that I can't quite see how Bony and Michu can work together effectively. Having said that, we haven't seen the two of them play together when they are both on form and fully fit.
