He was interviewed by the Mail(I think ) last week and did say that but he also said he has no intention of going anywhere as he is still learning his trade etc. I do think he will go in the near future if the choice of a top 6 or us he is going to do a Joe Allen and earn large wages whilst he can. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2606299/Ben-Davies-admits-beli [Post edited 20 Apr 2014 9:20]

Liverpool after Davies on 12:03 - Apr 20 with 1360 views | magicdaps10 | If this story is true then lets use it to our advantage. We have two good left backs in Taylor and Davies, losing one would not be the end of the world. Lets say Davies Is valued at 15M best, they have a player in Borini that we would 100% be interested in, a straight swap and lets say 5m also coming our way would be great business. If we were to do this then we could look at someone like Ryan Bertrand for around 5m, this meaning we have covered left back and got a good attacking player in without eating into our summer budget.

That would suggest Borini is worth £10M by your estimation.

Think Liverpool paid roughly 10 million for Borini, they would want to recoup most of that I imagine.

Liverpool after Davies on 15:14 - Apr 20 with 1086 views | magicdaps10 | I would expect Liverpool to want and get around 9/10M for Borini especially after him having a decent season at Sunderland. He would be perfect competition with Bony and also a useful goal threat to have out wide as an alternative option.

Think can get better value for £10M than Borini. Not sure Liverpool would want a full recoup of any previous transfer paid. Borini will not a first team squad player if he goes back to Anfield with Liverpool in the Champions League they will be very active this summer in the transfer and Borini will be released i think. If we could get him for 5 or 6M then that would be good business. If Sunderland stay up he could well end up there with KI next season.

Borini would be a significant step up from the kind of cover we've had for our main forward over the last two years. Any deal around the £6m mark would be good business.

Liverpool after Davies on 15:52 - Apr 20 with 1004 views | Phil_S | This is also a pointless debate as the article is using quotes taken from a completely different subject Let me go off and get some quotes from Gareth Bale on joining Madrid last summer and I'll create them into an article that makes it look like he is talking about us...

I think 90% of things on this forum or most forums are pointless and have no substance but surely that's not the point of forums!? Surely a forum is for all Swansea fans to talk about all Swansea related stories or non stories and for all to give their view on a situation or a non situation.

Just seemed that you were knocking the thread, by saying that it was pointless. Do you want people to come on the forum or do you want hermits and keep their views and opinions to themselves?

It was more a referral to it being a pointless article pieced together through jigsaw pieces that have no substance Plus if they want Ben they can have him...
Liverpool after Davies on 19:41 - Apr 20 with 781 views | Catullus | A few million plus Borini, I'd be happy with that. Wouldn't sell Ki to Sunderland though, I'd offer him as makeweight to keep Jdg's price low. If Liverpool are after Ben, and Los Rojiblancos too, it could be a sellers market. Either a very good price or a very good exchange deal. Both will have champions league.

Liverpool after Davies on 19:54 - Apr 20 with 760 views | Drizzy | I don't think now is the time for Ben to move. The team has struggled this season and he hasn't made that much progress from his excellent debut season. If Ben comes back strong next year, which he should along with the rest of the team, a big money move could well be on the cards. Realistically I don't see much more than £10m for him. Full-back is not a premium position and you can get very good players for a pittance.

Liverpool after Davies on 20:23 - Apr 20 with 706 views | Rancid | Am I the only one who thinks he isn't that good? Now Luke Shaw, there's a decent full back and has left Ben behind this season. He needs another season with us before we he starts dreaming of a big move and a good season at that.He got bullied yesterday for their goal. All said if he comes good next season then maybe then he can start dreaming of a big move away.On this seasons form he's lucky to keep his place in the Swans side.

Ben has played a crazy amount of football for one so young over the last 18 months. It's hardly surprising that he's hit the wall this season. He'll come again next season I'm sure and he'll develop into a dead ball specialist too.
