This is a thread for the PlanetSwans mavericks to explain how they chose some of their legendary user names. The DwightYorkeSuperstars of this board, not the generic swanseafan1912 types.
I'll start.
I see a lot of myself in the man both mentally and physically. We're both artists, misunderstood by older generations. We both started from the bottom and know the struggle. He's quite easily the most obvious reflection of myself in the celebrity world.
Bluenile..............feck all to do with the scummers, despite what some n here have thought.............The Blue Nile..............a great, great band. Scottish, unusual, thought-provoking, took a near lifetime to make their 2nd album.

I was so pleased when the new guy joined our squad as my name is quiet unusual.there's not many of us left.
Quite boring mine, about 10 years ago I signed up with BT and they gave me the email addy starting off as epaul, so decided to use the same everywhere else, easier!
The hair and the beard have gone I am now conforming to society, tis a sad day

I took it from a book I 0was reading about Rome. Catullus was a Roman poet, love mostly, which I thought both apt and ironic for this site as we all love the Swans whilst apparently hating a lot of this boards members!!!
In my first DJ incarnation after the warm up I would invariably start sets with a certain record hence the name.
I then revived it the purposes of message board discussions ages ago, since the name accurately reflects my lack general lack of total commitment to any worldly matters.
