Hey , let's not start with all that rehabilitation nonsense! Planet Swans these days has become like the Welsh Baptist Union, no forgiveness , no repentance allowed and no redemption . Followed by crucifixion if you happen to be Spanish and wear your hair in a bin. Or then have it cut to look like George Michael.
Of course I'm being a bit facetious Chief . If Nathan can turn his life around after a run in with the law there's no reason Ravel can't either . The mail's article on him (I'll post it if I can find it) gave him a lot of sympathy because if the treatment WHU have given him over this while agent b*llocks.
At £3.75 million it's almost a no risk fee. If he messes up loan him out to a championship club with a view to selling but if he gets his head down and plays well for us we could have a 15-20 million player on our hands, quick, unbelievably skillful and will run at any defence at pace. Bony and the other forward players would have a field day with this boy on form and apart from adding Borini and maybe a 3rd striker to cover Fabio when Wilf goes of to the ACN that's all we need going forward. Add a right back to complement AR, a new goalie and most importantly of all a very effective CDM with a good physique, tackling and distribution (Rodwell, Behrami) then we're cooking on gas. That would be a squad to do some real damage. |  |

Perhaps someone can enlighten me ..... I read the transfer window opens as soon as the season ends ...
... transfers between clubs in the same association can take place as soon as the last competitive fixtures for the season have been played. However, many transfers will not be completed until 1 July because many players' contracts expire on 30 June.
... so can we already agree to take players and sign them if their contracts are up ? Can we agree to sign players now and it comes into effect on 1st July ? .... or do we have to wait 43 sleeps before any action ? |  | | |
