Agreed.
Does anyone think that if Caulker had joined us instead of Cardiff he'd have stood a better chance of going to Brazil? With us he'd have been encouraged to play good football alongside Ash like he was when we had him for a season but at Cardiff he seemed to be involved in a constant rearguard battle with little opportunity to use his skills . On the other hand, myopic Roy would probably have ignored him along with Routs, Dyer and Leon. |  | | |

Spurs gave him up far too easily for someone with such a good rep. There's something else going on there. Add in his tendency to go missing at set pieces and I'm not entirely sure why people are so desperate to bring him back. |  |

I think that he was Ok with Ash alongside him. The experienced head to keep him in place positioning wise. If he is left to lead the defence he is just not good enough. |  | | |

They sold him because he had a gambling addiction and the club were having to pay people off for him.
That's one of the main reasons he was loaned here too, Harry Redknapp got in touch with Joh Hartson and got him to take him to Gamblers Anonymous whilst he was here. |  | | |

That doesn't mean or guarantee anything though. Young player with ability and potential = Vazquez. Decent Championship player = DG10. And before anyone says it, Vazquez was touted as having a big future ahead of him before his move here (believe it or not). | | | |
