...I saw him play for Real Betis against us in a pre-season friendly in August 2011 and he was excellent. He played mainly on the left that day and regularly ripped us a new one.

He will be an outstanding signing if we can pull it off, in my opinion.

If we're adding a winger, Dimitry Payet, currently at Marseille, (who we've been linked with) is nigh on perfect for us.

We do not NEED another winger with Dyer, Routledge, Montero, Emnes on our books but with Hernandez gone and Canas and Pozuelo seemingly going the same way it does leave us a little light in midfield.

Defensive Midfielders: Britton, Ki
Neutral Midfielders: Shelvey, Fulton
Attacking Midfielders: Sigurdsson
Wingers: Dyer, Montero, Routledge, Emnes

If we sign JDG then he can cover a variety of positions and we should be okay however if we sign a winger then Emnes can always cover Siggy as a attacking midfielder.

I've said on here before that I'd love to see Serge Aurier here, especially after his move to Arsenal didn't happen. Not sure how realistic that was and he's now joined PSG on loan.
