Wales have exceeded my expectations for these Commonwealth games, I would not have guessed that they would have beaten their previous 2 games performances.
Wales were 8th all time on the medals list before these games and 9th on the gold medal list, there is not one country ahead of Wales with a smaller population, in fact nearly all of them have populations that dwarf Wales. |  |

Good post. Strange how some were so keen to slag off the welsh team so early in the games. There does seem to be a strong desire by some to constantly look for the negatives in wales rather than the positives. It would be nice if we as a nation had a bit more self belief and confidence in our wonderful country. |  | | |

Good post. Strange how some were so keen to slag off the welsh team so early in the games.
