FAO Those Interested in Marine Life. 09:14 - Jul 28 with 337 viewslifelong

I see a variety of Marine Life while out fishing, Seals, Dolphins, different bird life etc, photographed this Jellyfish recently, tweeted it to @Wildlife-UK and there was quite a bit of interest in it.

It's a Lions Mane Jellyfish and can grow to huge proportions, this one was about the size of a satellite dish and its tentacles were about 8 feet long, it's common in the Northern Hemisphere but I hadn't seen one before.

They are remarkable things, nice to see and learn something new.

I dislike Jellyfish. Not sure of their purpose in the oceans.

Apparently there are lots of barrel jellyfish around Cornwall too I read in the news. Horrible things but look beautiful
