Let's get it going.

First weekend of pre season starts tonight.

28 days until the regular season kicks off with Packers @ Seahawks.

Who's your tip for the Lombardi?

How's Johnny Manziel going to do in his rookie season at the Browns?

We have 5 so far including Jonny. Im already running 4 teams on the cbs site so you see its not particularly challenging once you get going. Toughest part is the draft.
Its purely up to you guys if you want to do it. Its there if you want it.

Its just a ride...

What if I set up a pickem league on NFL.com? You just predict the winner of every game?

A pickem league is a great shout as an alternative to the Bragging Rights competition, will definitely join when you get that set up. Would also be up for a Planetswans fantasy league if we can get the numbers together. I know you can set up an 8 team league on the ESPN fantasy site but it would be more fun with at least 12 teams. I wouldn't be too put off by being a newcomer to the NFL, it's a good way to learn more about the offensive players from around the league and get invested in games which don't involve your favourite teams.

Anybody care to join me in making some predictions for division winners + wild card teams. I'm feeling more confident about getting this right than I have in years so will most probably be wrong on all of them..

AFC North - Pittsburgh
AFC South - Indianapolis
AFC East - New England
AFC West - Denver

Wildcards - San Diego, Cincinnati

NFC North - Green Bay
NFC South - New Orleans
NFC East - Philadelphia
NFC West - Seattle

Wildcards - San Francisco, Chicago

At the moment I have no idea if I'll be here Monday evening. If I am then I will most likely join

you can set it to autopilot so it will pick your team for you based on the rankings that you have entered.

Dolphins stuff the Patriots

Cowboys are hopeless

Atlanta shake the Saints up.

It's great to have it back

Sadly not, did both games and the fan stuff last year. It's great fun, try and get there early though as inevitably it gets absolutely rammed later on, with passers by wandering in to have a look at what's going on.

So as teams start to pass over the half way mark, who has exceeded/failed to meet your expectations?

Exceeded: Arizona with a clear lead in their division above SEA/SF; Buffalo as a competitive team.

Failed: Da' Bears have been terrible. Seattle have looked incredibly ropey at times in comparison to last year. The Jets have met my failure expectations.

Cowboys have exceeded expectations and are the favourites to win their division. Not sure if they're consistent enough to go the distance after their performance on Monday night.

Saints have been disappointing so far. Expected them to be better than 4-4.

Very difficult to see them keep their levels up all season. Romo's back is starting to creak, and while Murray is the hottest RB in the league, he's taking an incredible amount of carries per game, and will slow down, probably with an injury. Bryant can be phenomenal but is far too easily solved with double coverage.

The only consistency in the league at the moment is that old sage P Manning getting his business done.

The Jests have exceeded my estimations

As for teams "hosting" at Wembley, it's mostly because the NFL have mandated you can only host a Super Bowl if you give up a home game for an international game.

The Wembley games are utter jokes. Real fans of the teams are the ones being shafted; lose a home game, have to stump up the cash to travel to Lndon. All to play in front of people going to games wearing shirts of teams not even in the damn games...

Poll: 94th minute; Medel does Charlie Adam, causing a career ending injury. Do you..
