I've never heard of him,I have now though.
He's never been massive or anything...I just stumbled across him one day while browsing and subscribed to him...quite good to listen to his debates although he can be a little whiny sometimes!
ALS is a dreadful disease and has no cure, once you have it you know your dead.
Your muscle's get weaker and weaker, you can't move your arms, legs, head. Gets to a point where you are unable to swallow and finally your unable to breathe.
It takes years from start to end.
The wife of someone in our local community is in the last stages now. Horrible disease.

So of all the terrible things going on in the world we're all getting our knickers in a twist about people chucking water over their head and raising a shit-load of money for charity in the process? OK then.

In the UK it seems to have been adopted by Macmillan which seems to have overtaken the MND campaign over here at least.
Both terrible diseases, both more than worthy causes, both need as much money as possible to help research and combat them. Which is why I hope all those who are filming themselves and nominating others are also putting their hands in their pockets and not just doing this because they're attention seekers. I know many are also donating but I know quite a few that didn't even know this was a charity thing until it was pointed out.
I don't like these ' campaigns ', but this brought a tear to my eye.

Ever since my son was... never conceived, because I've never had consensual sex without money involved... I've always kind of looked at you as... a thing, that I could live next to... in accordance with state laws.

Another prime example of social media forcing people to try to prove they are worthy of being accepted and looking for public acceptance for their actions.
It is utterly utterly cringe worthy.
What on earth is wrong with just donating to a charity with some discretion and dignity?
Why did you say Garry Monk was brilliant when he did this, you attention seeking t water of a troll ?

I remember reading about this guy having it a while back.
Weird watching the video, his movements remind me so much of what my Dad was like. There is a video going round of a guy doing the challenge whose grandmother and mother had it and he has just been diagnosed with it. All very sad.

I love the sports stars that do it, they all jump in an f'in ice bath after training anyway!

There was an article on sky news about it the other day saying what a wonderful thing it was then they went to an ad break and the very first advert was one of those about the african kids who are dying of dehydration and donating a pound could give them water for a month sort of thing.
Makes you think.
The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
You really are an absolute prick aint you. Its raised over 60 million in the last few weeks and is a great way to get people to donate money they probably wouldnt have
