Possibly? In which case, make some use of it and tidy it up though? Coffee shop in the arches? Ice cream parlour? I don't know, but it needs tidying up if it is to stay there.

Yes, good suggestion, a bit of a tidy and coffee shop in one of the arches and the others used. I remember it when I was a kid living in Sandfields and it used to be nice to wander down to the slip and have an cold drink there. |  |

Yep.
I think it is supposed to be some kind of iconic landmark, but it just looks tatty and gives the impression they can't be bothered disposing with it.
If they can restore it and get it back up then great, if not, just take it away. Traffic lights will ensure no one really uses it anyway. | | | |
