Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

Nice to see you're doing a better job of marketing for the match than you know, our actual marketing department.

Madness innit? Anyone would think we've nearly sold out.

Oh.

Well I go to the foot of our stairs. Nearly sold out a midweek relatively early round league cup tie against a second string Evo at best. Impressed. Hope its a good one for everyone. Got a feeling this is where we put the hoodoo to bed; still find it hard to believe we didn't finish them off in 1983.

Why doesn't the ticket office manager print them all off, then rush to the reception area of some large government office building in Swansea and hand them out free to workers as they leave for the day?

Somewhere like...er...er...come on, help me out here........

Didn't you get an email & a Facebook prompt keeping you abreast of ticket sales?
Seems like the Marketing Dept have done a wonderful job achieving a near sell-out day before a midweek COC game against Everton reserves.

Talking of breasts & COCs.......you've made a tit & nob of yourself yet again

Can't wait for tomorrow night.......COYJB's.

We have done well to sell that many for any early Carling Cup game

Just shows if you price the game properly you will get more fans coming

I have ONE ticket for sale tomorrow, 1 adult £15 CASH.

Its likely to be a FAR better view than the tickets you'll get at this time.

Can deliver/meet you in person this evening, or tomorrow morning, just looking to get my money back.

It would have been interesting if we had had to give Cardiff the full 3,400 (15% allocation) and the police had agreed. They would of had to come in double Decker buses to fit in the cage.

I don't think so. We play Everton every season. Only reason this game is even close to a sell out is the excellent ticket pricing for it.

Do you think it would be close to a sell out if we were playing, for example, Rotherham?

Hence my point that the opposition has helped to sell it out. Many tomorrow wouldn't be going if the oppo were a lower league team.

We could have had a near sell out for Rotherham if...

1) There was more time for ticket sales as the ticket pricing was spot on.
2) There was more advertisements for the game in and around the city and in the local press.
3) Ticket booths had been located around the stadium.
4) Ticket sales had been taken around the Swansea supporting regions in stores such as Tesco's.

There were 13,000 fans at that game.

I thought 13,000 against Rotherham was a great attendance to be honest

It was a cracking attendance. However, it could have been even larger with the correct marketing.

This is abysmal. We must get rid of the marketing department, the board and GM !

The problem is we don't have a big enough stadium so that the whole of Swansea can attend every game, similar to the theatre of nightmares in Mancville.

We are just shite ... especially that Bony fellah for having the audacity to get sent off recently.

Rant, rave, rant, rave ... FFS

C'mon Bony shoot !!!!
