Rogers just as well as chucked that 16million quid he spent on Ballotelli off the top of an open deck bus around Liverpool town centre, at least then he would have had some satisfaction from it, Ballotelli is a complete non entity so far this season and I can't see it changing, be interesting to hear what Rogers will have to say about him swapping shirts half time. |

Mate, if the scallies play like that at that intensity, they will mash us to a pulp. We would have collapsed under that sort of pressure. Madrid can take it and give it back x 10. If anyone thinks we could have lived with either team on that game I just watched then I think they are being very optimistic.....and I'd LOVE it to be true that the scousehouses were sh1t.

The Liverpool defence needed completely revamping at the end of last season. It hasn't happened so they are paying the price. Ballotelli certainly isn't the answer up front either, any decent centre back will wind him up and have him in his pocket.
Suarez did the damage last year, but since he's gone they are very overrated.

You have a goal scoring superstar in your team, then they can almost win many games on their own, with just an above average team behind them. Suarez did for Liverpool last season, what Bale did for Spurs the one before. Neither were very good teams (comparing with the best in the PL, not the likes of us). |  |
