It's okay, Napoli are going to buy him at the end of the season and so letting him go there while our midfield is appallingly thin is perfectly okay.

Michu played well when the team played well, he was never one to look at to lift the performance if the team were struggling

I'd normally agree, but we have a transfer fee riding on him doing well!

Strange how views can be different. I thought he did everything to lift the team when it was not doing well. He tended to get frustrated with his team mates and was not afraid to tell them so.

Strange old world, not everything is black and white, so we'll have to agree to differ.

I agree that he did try, but do think that his frustration got the better of him before he could make that impact

If Napoli buy Michu at season end it will be the eighth wonder of the world. He will come back to us at a huge cost in wages and sold at a give away fee to an ailing Spanish club where he will play out his time to retirement. He had his day in the sun which set to quickly.

Whatever anyone thinks of Michu, when fit he was possibly the best player in terms of pure quality to ever put on a Swansea city shirt. People have very short memories.

DeGuzman got a goal on his debut. He's doing better than Michu.

He's certainly a better option off the bench than Marvin Emnes.

NO WAY RAFA BENITEz is going to pay the transfer option of £8 million for him.

He had a short window to prove himself.

He will be back here at some point next year.

The problem is will he be up to the task once again.?....who knows. What will happen

There's no denying he's a brilliant player when on form...

Based on the form and lack of interest he showed last season and so far this season, I'm not sure he is.

I tend to agree. Since Emnes (re)joined us in Jan, his performances have been far more effective in 2014 than Michu's for either the Swans or Napoli. Michu is finished IMO.

In my personal opinion Gylfi will leave at the end of this season as someone like Chelsea, Mardid, Arsenal, Barcelona or Atletico could all come in for him if that happens we will need Michu considering lots of people seem the think Marvin isn't up to the job.

Michu come home!

He was top scorer in the best season this club has ever had. He hasn't become a bad player over night. He needs psychological work and we could get a born again Michu firing, that's better than Emnes or Gomis, the vast majority on here elected Michu when asked in a poll who was better, him or Gylfi. A firing Michu is unplayable and if we don't take him, someone in the premier league will and you can bet your last penny he'll come back and bite us in the ass soon enough.

Ideal opportunity for the club's new psychologist to earn his money.
