"We are proposing a salary for AMs which reflects the weight of responsibility they carry."

There's a good argument for reducing their pay, and all of those troughlickers in Westminster too (seeing as they will have fewer responsibilities) but I doubt it.
At a time when we are preached at to show restraint, our so called great and good grab ever more from the public purse, I don't expect this to be any different.
No, they'll take the rise. And continue to pay for day to day stuff on expenses whilst stashing their pay in high interest accounts.
