When the advantages of allowing migrant workers into this country are discussed in the media,we often see the farmer in East Anglian with his strawberry patch complaining that if it wasn't for the migrant workers from Eastern Europe he wouldn't be able to pick his straw berries, as local people are just not interested.
What he doesn't tell you is that he pays the minimum wage, and that the job is of course seasonal.
What we are now finding out is that these same workers,whom we'll say earn £200pw, on average receive an additional £330per week in tax credits and other benefits.They don't even have to have their children living in this country to claim for them!
We must be the most stupid country on earth.Not only are we allowing the farmer to maximise his profit on the back of the British taxpayer, but we are "the honeypot nation"attracting immigrant labour which is keeping low pay suppressed ,putting pressure on hospitals,schools,public services and houses.
All so that we can buy our box of strawberries at Tesco for £2 instead of £4. |  |

He makes a point about the thousands who get up at noon, go to the pub, then Bookies then off home to sh@g or stab their "partner" over who s got the remote for the 52" telly. These are invariably the white trailer trash we ve nurtured.
