I saw sloes for sale on the right at a farm entrance in Old Walls just before the Greyhound Inn. I think it was the first Saturday in Sept. they were about £4 for a kilo bag i think. This is slightly early for sloes is it not?
Far too much for me, so a couple of weeks later I saw these Aronia berries from Scotland in Tesco a 250g punnet. Set me back £2 but the gin was festering away in a cupboard.

I was drinking it last night.A friend from Southgate brought me a bottle so i took it to a house type party.We were all drinking it neat anyway and wasn't sure if thats the way ha.It tasted superb and wouldn't add porthcawl if i drunk it again. [Post edited 21 Dec 2014 21:02]
