I agree.
The really annoying thing is the money we will probably spend on Carrol for his loan and perm move, is probably more than it would have cost to retain JDG.

Isn't it funny how a player's stock rises when he isn't playing for us? When he was with us JdG received more negative posts on here than positive. Ki's another example - slated during his first spell and then became the massiah when he was at Sunderland. Both good players of course.

Ki was rightly slated as his first season was very unproductive and he became a better PL player at Sunderland, JDG was good from day one and i never understood people who said otherwise
