Yes I do agree dyer has been very shaky in recent memory, but I think we should give him another chance against his former side and bring barrow on as a spark in the second half. | | | |

I agree that Marvin should be given a shout but I think Gomis should start as well. If bridges have been built then he must play. I don't think his Blackburn performance was as bad as you suggest. It is never easy for a striker when you are down to 10 men. Nelson is still finding his feet and therefore should be brought on later in the game.
However if problems still exists with Gomis then indeed he should be left out whilst we await his exit from the club in this window. In this situation I really hope the club will have their sourced alternative ready to come in. Gary has said he is always looking at players so you would expect him to have targets and also expect the Board to back him to the hilt in such circumstances....... |  |

Unless a deal is in motion by that time for Gomis to leave the next day then he has to start. No point holding onto an unhappy player and then benching him.
I'd start with Dyer as Barrow seems to make a bigger impact coming off the bench. If Britts is fit then Shelvey is of course going to play the no 10 role. If not Shelvey has to drop back (as no alternative) and Oliviera will probably play there. | | | |

Gomis against Blackburn was getting the ball with back to goal, that isn't what he's best at, thats Wilfs bag. Gomis likes the ball cut back to him so he receives it facing the goal, but apart from Montero no one takes it to the byline any more. | | | |

From what I saw Emnes wasn't that good in the striker role in pre season. I think he's better when he links up with a striker. When he came on as AM and linked up with bony before he looked great, made some nice passes to Bony and was also able to make some good moves himself.
