I was thinking that until recently we could get away with these obscurities and journeymen as our unique style could propel them to greater heights than your bog standard British team.

When Liverpool sold Suarez it is now generally felt that by not replacing him with a player of similar quality it was a huge mistake,as it stands now we are going to make a similar mistake,the money we received from Bony should have been invested on at least 1 or 2,preferably 2,quality players.It may very well be that in the next few days we will see this happen but highly unlikely,without Bony the next 16 games are going to be very hard work,who is going to score enough goals to see us through to at least 40/43 points which may well be the safety bench mark of points this season. | | | |

I do agree but generally Jan is not seen as the best time to do business, get the feeling it is going to be limp over the line and do our business in the summer.
