In all seriousness, very very happy with this signing. Great to see a glaring weakness addressed in the window and with a player of really strong pedigree as well. He could do very well for us for years to come with a bit of luck. Looking forward to seeing him and Ki giving us a much stronger platform in the middle. I was pretty resigned to us getting to Monday with the whole 'we couldn't get better than we already have in the squad' type stuff (as is normally the case) but really pleased to be wrong. | | | |

I suppose it may be too much to get him to start - depends on how he recovers, but you'd think that 5 or 6 days should be enough (assuming that he doesn't travel back in a cramped seat at the back of the plane after consuming as much free wine as he can grab).
