Brilliant game. It's taken 6 weeks of mostly boring stuff and now it's all come alive- what a game

Feckin brilliant. Edge of the seat stuff, the game swung one way then the other, so many times.

Come on India

Incredible finish, thought they were going to fall just short but got a break when the two fielders ran into eachother, and a huuuuuge six to win it. Hope the second semi is just as good.

Looked like a brilliant atmosphere at Eden park earlier, the nZ public enjoying it?

Yeah, very big news, and has been since the start really. I think the way McCullum plays and captains the side helps, it’s just all-out attack, exciting but a bit risky too. You’d hardly notice the super rugby is on, the news and sport is all cricket.

I'm glad NZ won I used to follow them in the international game before Sri Lanka was allowed into the fold.
I hope NZ lift the cup, I did think that if it had not rained that SA would probably have won the match but we will never know and it was a very good game which neither teamed deserved to lose but one of them had to.

As regards England, test team slayers Glammy would beat them even with the mediocre side Glamorgan have currently got, England are so bad.

Glammy have beaten far better teams than the current England team in the past mun, they had beaten every test nation at one time, on more than one occasion as well in some cases, just ask Australia for starters.

With respect for the last few seasons Glamorgan would struggle to beat Hills Plymouth 2nd eleven!!!

But Glammy have always raised their game for such matches, people thought that because they apparently saw themselves as representing Wales that as a result of that thinking they managed to beat lots of test teams.

There are no full tours anymore so you cant play them, otherwise Glammy would still be chalking up the wins against the big boys.

It's definitely a marathon and one for the insomniacs this time round. The format is awful. NZ have got a very good side. I've got £15 on them at 5/1. I also chucked a fiver on England at 10/1 purely out of loyalty and the hope that they might one day remember how to play cricket again.

Ahem. Second post on the thread. Come on NZ.

Cmon the black caps. They reckon the conditions at mcg are comp, early different to nz. Less swing, larger boundaries
